Currently patients affected with breast and prostate cancer, two of the most prevalent types in Spain, are likely to have around 40% of prevalence of vertebral metastasis (being able to reach up to 70% in advance stages of the cancer). In those the structural stability of the column is critical and could end up causing a fracture in the vertebrae and spinal cord lesions. The main objective of the project is to develop a methodology to predict the vertebral collapse in the early stages of the metastasis.
