Due to its wide applicability to many physical processes and the unparalleled accuracy obtained from its solution, the Lagrangian framework for hydrodynamics has remained an active area of research since its inception in the 1940's. We present a three dimensional Lagrangian matrix-free finite element code which utilizes a deferred correction time update. The code is part of the Fierro computational mechanics code which leverages the immense utility of the MATAR C++ library, providing a seamless integration of the Kokkos Performance Portability EcoSystem with MPI for distributed computing.
